Chirag's Misfortune...!!!
Standing at the entrance of the Examination centre, Chirag took a deep breath and continued to walk in silence. He was accompanied by his hostelite friend Abhi, who too was nervous and a bit skeptical. It was Maths paper and the clock was about to touch quarter past two in the afternoon. As the examination block opened Chirag wished his other friend and began to unpack his bag.
Suddenly his eyes wide opened, hands moving fiercely and the body pumping sweat all through the scalp. He had forgotten the hall ticket of the examination which was about to began in about few minutes. Abhi just gazed at him and started pouring out ideas to overcome this situation. There was a rapid and aggressive movement of neurons in his brain all clashing into each other but no fruitful idea.
"Deepak, don't ask any question just get the hall ticket on the bed, catch the tuk-tuk and reach the centre within less than 8 minutes" he said as he walked again to the entrance of the centre but this time took expeditious wide steps.
-"Might go for next attempt after six months, whole struggle throughout the year will go in vain, CARELESS will be my new name and this too will be called as failure without trying." Inside the block Abhi worried for him and kept looking at his desk but he was nowhere to be seen. Examiner entered with OMR sheets and the silence increased. Chirag cursing himself for his utter carelessness, dialed Deepak's number constantly with sweaty hands and greasy phone. By then there were quite a few vehicles at the entrance, mostly of parents who were returning home after dropping their 'kids' for the exam.
Deepak, by then, came out of the hostel in his shorts and slippers searching for never stopping rickshaws walking in the centre's direction. Finally he got one and paid extra to get atleast on time. Hostelites are well prepared for such situations only the victim of the situation changes, situations remain quite the same. There was only a minute or so left for the final bell. Rushing out of the rickshaw Deepak got off and began a frantic search for Chirag.
"Deepakkkk." he shouted and all the parents saw him in suspicion but the least he could do was care about it. Deepak was on the other side of the road, vehicles gushing by and for few seconds he had to WAIT again. Chirag almost snatched his hall ticket without even looking at him or saying 'Thank You' It was quite understandable. As he started running towards his block "ALL THE BEST..!!!" he heard.
Chirag entered the class just to witness mass staring, including the examiner who was last year student of the same college. Abhi's face lit up with broad smile as he looked towards him and both nodded.
But now the real fight begins...!!!

(The above story is a real life incident of my friend Chirag, it was very thrilling to hear this from him and I decided to improvise a story out of this. Hope you like it..!!!)
