(Its good to be back after a such a long time. I thought what should I publish next? Then I remembered my first official letter which I wrote to Nitin Gadkari Ji after my 10th class complaining about the difficulty I faced while appearing for my driving license exam.

One may counter-Why am I publishing this now? There is no specific reason as such but this letter will give you a taste of my mental state at that period of time. I didn't got any reply nor any acknowledgement from their side. It expresses my frustration  and my cry for not getting what was promised for.- Now its a habit

Please note this was after my 10th class, just started to use many of English phrases and words to make it litreary , I think I've changed a lot since....:)

Subject:- Conflicting rule faced to obtain a learning license for 16 years old.

Respected Sir,

I Master Advait Misal,(Maharashtra, Pune) with a bit disappointment write you this letter to inform you about the hardships faced to obtain a learning license for 16 years old.

The passion to drive a vehicle aroused in when I was in class 8th. From then I used to be alert to search an opportunity to get a vehicle. But my principled father made me understand about the law for driving the vehicle. Then I waited to be 16yrs and now I am finding it difficult to obtain a learning license. My friends insisted to drive and to seat behind them on a vehicle. But my father’s strong impression stopped me from tempting for any activity related to a vehicle. Practically, there are negligible amount of motor cycles up to 50CC running on Indian roads. A 10th appeared student is eligible to drive a motor cycle up to 50cc. The 10th appeared applicants have no option rather than to wait to be 18yrs.The main problem seems that the ministry accepts my request on the website for my LL but is unable to fulfill it at the RTO office. All the two wheeler companies have shifted their minimum power of a vehicle from 50cc to 70cc vehicles. The production of 50cc vehicles is trivial. Also this exhaustive process involves money and most valued time. If the ministry cannot fulfill my demand for a license practically, it should at least show some reference while filling the form. This does not ensure any refund nor a license..

The learner license for a 10th appeared can be obtained by many offensive ways which includes corruption, at the drop of a hat, but it does not catch my attention. This problem is faced by many of my brother and sisters holding the fort in India. The right to have a learning license seems to be unappeased in this case. So it’s now a high time for the Indian ministry to change with the generation and to customize the law according to new needs.

Hope the Ministry takes my letter seriously and gives us a chance to say again “I’m proud of my government “

Thanking You in Anticipation,

                                               Yours faithfully,                                                Advait Misal
